IS THIS YOU?

You Keep Ending Up in the Same Place

You swipe, you match, you go on dates — but it always ends the same way. You pick the wrong people. You lose yourself trying to make it work. You pull away the moment things get real. Or you stay too long with someone who was never right.

If any of this sounds familiar, it's not because you're broken — it's because you have schemas and attachment patterns running the show. This group helps you see them, name them, and finally break the cycle.

THE APPROACH

What Are Schemas — And Why Do They Matter for Dating?

Schemas are deep-seated patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that develop early in life — often from unmet emotional needs in childhood. They operate beneath your awareness and shape who you're attracted to, how you behave in relationships, and why certain dynamics keep repeating.

Schema chemistry is what happens when your schemas lock into someone else's — creating that intense "spark" that feels like connection but is actually pattern recognition. The person who feels most familiar often activates your deepest wounds. Understanding this is the first step to breaking the cycle.

We also work with attachment styles — anxious, avoidant, disorganized — and how they interact with your schemas to create the push-pull dynamics that keep you stuck. When you understand both your schemas and your attachment style, you can finally stop repeating and start choosing.

QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this group for?

This group is for singles who are tired of repeating the same dating patterns and want to approach relationships with more awareness and intention. Whether you're navigating online dating, recovering from a breakup, or struggling to build authentic connections, this group is designed for you.

What is schema therapy and how does it apply to dating?

Schemas are deep-seated patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that develop early in life. In dating, they show up as repeated patterns — choosing unavailable partners, people-pleasing, pushing people away, or tolerating mistreatment. Schema-awareness helps you recognize these patterns and make different choices.

How is this different from regular dating coaching?

Unlike dating coaching that focuses on surface-level strategies, our group addresses the underlying psychological patterns that drive your dating behavior. You'll gain deep self-awareness, receive feedback from peers, and practice new relational skills in a safe therapeutic environment.

How long is the group and what is the format?

The group runs in 12-week containers. Each 90-minute session combines psychoeducation, experiential exercises, group process, and weekly behavioral assignments. In-person groups are 8–10 members; online groups range from 12–28 depending on your preferences. It's both a skills group and a process group — you learn new tools and practice them with real-time feedback.

Is this group available online?

Yes. The group is available both in-person and online via secure video. Online members participate fully in all exercises, discussions, and feedback — it's not a passive experience.

What if I'm not currently dating?

You don't need to be actively dating to benefit. Many members join during a break from dating to understand their patterns before re-entering the dating world. The skills you learn apply to all relationships.
