Lori Sparrow, LMFT

I utilize evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Attachment Theory to help individuals improve all aspects of their life. My style is active, supportive and empathic. I work to uncover interpersonal patterns and negative dynamics that are holding you back and teach you practical skills and tools to thrive.  Therapy works best when it is a collaborative process that is co-created between the therapist and client. Therefore, my approach is direct while also being flexible in order to meet the unique needs of the individual I am working with.

I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, work related stress, relationship/communication problems, body dysmorphia, OCD, depression, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is goal oriented and emphasizes behavioral interventions that are focused on helping you break old habits and create healthier ones that are consistent with your most deeply held values.
