Mia Gajdosik, Licensed Psychotherapist (#127940) and certified yoga instructor, received her clinical training from Columbia University. Mia has over a decade of experience working with young adults and adults at different stages in their lives, facing personal, relationship & career challenges, and big life transitions. Mia tailors your therapy to meet your unique wants and goals. She is trained in both modern and classical evidence-based techniques including CBT/DBT, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and stays up-to-date with current best practices.
With a yoga instructor background, Mia emphasizes the mind-heart-body connection with her clients. Mia believes that change happens when you feel trust, safety and non-judgement. Additionally, Mia believes that one of the most important relationships you will develop in your lifetime is the relationship you have with your therapist. Mia leads with warmth and affirming care.

Mia has received additional Master’s degree training in Narrative Medicine and Public Health, and is a Lecturer for Narrative Ethics at Columbia University.
